The other day when I was in the shower Paul took some pictures of Aubrey with his new sun hat her uses for working outside and is safety glasses.

Last Thursday I took the kids to Forest Park in Everett so they could play in the water.  This is the first year Aubrey could play in the sprinklers and absolutely loved it.  They had such a good time Haley didn’t want to leave.  We got there to late to see the animals this time but next time we will make sure to go earlier.

They have a huge playground as well.

I have been making the kids play outside for at least an hour after dinner.  Payton and Haley just want to sit inside in the air conditioning on these hot days and watch TV, so we found some activities to stay cool outside.  Unfortunately the pool sprang a leak so I need to go get a new one before summer really hits.

Aubrey has discovered the sand box in the back yard, and just loves it.  The bad thing about this is that she gets it in her hair and then it takes a couple washes to get it out, so needless to say it’s not my favorite activity.  She on the other hand loves it so much she was even eating the other day.
