We rode our motorcycles this weekend and had a blast.  Aubrey found it amusing to wear Payton’s helmet.

It’s scary how fast Aubrey can get around by herself these days.  She really like to just stand and hang on to her Zebra.  Payton was trying to show her how to let go and sit down on her own, but she hasn’t mastered that yet.

Last Monday Haley started summer soccer, she played last fall and enjoyed it so we signed her up for the summer season.  I am so proud of her she has improved so much since last fall and is now the star of her team.  If anyone would like to come and watch her it is Monday and Thursday nights from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, send me an E-mail and I can send you the address to the soccer field.

Wednesday night I put Aubrey to bed, mind you usually I can lay her down and she will then fall asleep.  Well not this night I lay her down and I hear allot of racket coming from her room so I go to check on her and to my surprise she has learned how to pull her self up on the railing to a standing position.  I thought this will great until I couldn’t get her to lay down every time I would lay her down she would pop back up and be standing at the darn railing.  Just when we had bed time all figured out, now we have something new to deal with.

Haley has been practicing on her motorcycle and has been getting progressively better.  Paul is trying to teach her how to turn so she doesn’t end up in the bushes all the time.  Her and I do circles around the play set on our motorcycles to learn how to turn, I am starting to get the hang of it but I am not racing yet.

We had two wedding showers to go to this weekend, one for my cousin Jamie who is getting married in September and the other for Ami my brothers fiance.  Needless to say it was a busy weekend and we enjoyed our selves at both shower, the weather couldn’t have been better and it was nice to visit with some of the family members we don’t get to see very often.

Boy are we ever in for it soon.  Saturday Paul and I where playing with Aubrey and she just decides to stand all by her self.  She is all ready tormenting everything in the house by crawling I can just imagine what she will do with those two little legs.  I suspect she will be an early walker but her feet are so small still I don’t know if they can hold up her big head. 

Every year we try and do some project around the house, last year Paul put in a big flower bed out in the lawn and this year he put up an in ground basketball hoop.  Granted these project are usually a big pain in the bottom for Paul but we really do appreciate all the work he puts in around our place.  Evey one seems to be enjoying the basketball hoop and thanks to Paul and help form our old neighbor Mike it went up without any problems.

Another 4th of July has come and gone already, it’s really hard to believe last 4th of July Haley and I went and created our baby registry for Aubrey.  I can’t believe a year has passed so fast.  We played it low key on the 4thwe did a little BBQ since the place we normally go to on Fridays was closed for the holiday.  I had to run to the store and get a couple things for dinner and you wouldn’t believe the traffic in our area due to BOOM City, I had to make all sorts of detours jut to get to the store.  Paul bought Haley some fire works and that was plentyfor us, it was really nice because the neighbors must have spent a bunch of money and put on a really nice show from the view in our back yard.  Haley was in hog heaven helping Paul with the fireworks, she even had to wear her safety glasses.  Aubrey didn’t much care for the loud noises the fireworks made but did enjoy the bright lights.
