Schoenbachler Family

 We hit the road around 10:00am on Saturday to the Great Wolf in Ground Mound, just past Olympia.  Unfortunately we got stuck in traffic around fife for about 5 miles due to a 4 car accident, that was no fun with three kids in the car.  Eventually we got going again and we arrived at the Great Wolf about 1:45pm,  the weather was great all the way there so it made for a nice drive.  When we arrived the parking lot was packed so we where a little nervous that it was going to be way to crowded.  The line to check in was insane but it moved pretty fast, the kids where so excited it was hard for them to contain them selves.  Our room was ready so they let us check in early and we all went up and changed into out swim suites and got ready to play in the water. 

The hotel was really cool and the water park was allot of fun, there where four water slides and on really big water slide called the Howling Tornado.  There was a big bucket that filled up with water then it dumped out after about five minutes, they all loved standing under it, why I am not sure really.  If you would like to check it out go to greatwolf.com.  I think we all where a little disappointed with the quality of food but we all had so much fun we are still recovering.

Haley was so worn out by the time we headed out for home on Sunday Paul had to carry her to the car.  Aubrey was so excited to see her crib she fell asleep the minute I layed her down.  It was worth the drive and the money the Schoenbachler’s give it two thumbs up!

Payton turned 12 on May 23rd, we had a small celebration at Grandpa Bob’s and Michelle’s.  Grandpa made a cake and we had Payton’s choice of tacos for dinner.  Payton got a cell phone from her dad, a new iPOD from us and Grandpa Bob, Michelle and Willow.   Grandma Debbie took her shopping and got her a pedicure.  She really got spoiled this year.  It’s really hard to think it has been 12 years since I had her and next year we on to the teens, man do I feel old!

Haley had a little spring concert at school last Thursday, she was an acorn.  It was the best little kids concert I have seen so far.  My pictures didn’t come out very good for some reason.

Aubrey can now sit up all by her self in the bath tub.  It’s time to put the baby tub away and get her a toddler chair to sit in so she can take a bath with Haley.  We are always looking for new and fun bath toys so if any one out there has found any thing interesting please leave us a comment so we can check into them.

Thursday evenings we make the trip over to grandpa Bob’s, Michelle’s and Willows.  The kids have come to really enjoy this time and look forward to it each week.  We are really thankful that they have us every week, it’s not easy after all to feed four kids and find things they all like to eat.  Haley usually ropes grandpa into playing the Wii.  We will continues to visit as long as we are welcome.  Thanks for feeding and entertaining us each week.  These are a couple pictures from one of the sunny moments we had last week, while the kids played out side.
